Main Partners
This section presents the main networks / communities for the development of renewable energy sources and the rational use of energy.
Renael
Renael (the Italian network of Local Energy Agencies) aims to promote contacts and collaboration with other national Institutions, to build a critical mass and to encourage the exchange of experiences and good practices among members. It valorises the role of the Agencies and local Authorities, pressing for co-operation of all actors, both institutional and non, that operate in energy management at community, national and local level.
Enea
ENEA, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Environment is a public agency operating in the fields of energy, environment and new technologies to support competitiveness and sustainable development.
ENEA is mainly called upon:
• to promote and carry out basic and applied research and innovation technology activities, also through prototypes and product industrialization;
• to disseminate and transfer technologies, encouraging their use in productive and social sectors;
• to provide high-tech services, studies, tests and evaluations to both public and private bodies and enterprises.
Fire
FIRE (Italian Federation for Rational use of Energy) is a non-profit organization established in 1988 to promote energy efficiency. Its founder members were ENEA and other relevant organizations, which were active in the field of rational use of energy.
The primary goal of FIRE is to promote energy efficiency, mainly through the provision of operational, technical and scientific support to its members and to energy managers.
Aper
APER (Association of Energy Producers from Renewable Energy Sources) gathers and represents in Italy the producers of electric energy from renewable sources, protecting their interests at national and international level.
APER gives technical and legal assistance in the design and the management of electric systems; it represents a landmark for those who want to know more about renewable sources’ laws and market.
Eaci
The Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) manages the IEE programme on behalf of the European Commission.
The Intelligent Energy - Europe programme is the EU’s tool for funding action to improve the opportunities to save energy and encourage the use of renewable energy sources in Europe, to move us towards a more energy intelligent Europe.
EACI promotes and controls projects for the improvement of energy saving, of energy efficiency and of the use of renewable sources,
EACI spreads know-how and skills and encourages the exchange of experiences and good practices.
CasaClima
Bolzano’s CasaClima Agency is the first in Italy to give an energy performance certificate to buildings, showing two energy classifications: first, the building’s thermal protection class, and second, an expression of its construction quality.
CasaClima Agency also offers broad and varied know-how in every field related to construction.
Golea
GOLEA (Goriška Lokalna Energetska Agencija – Energy Agency Nova Gorica, Slovenia) is a Local Energy Agency which operates inside the IEE program.
The Agency aim is the promotion of energy saving, of energy efficiency and of the use of renewable sources.
